I live about 13 miles from what was epicenter, felt like freight train going through the basement of my house, I was fortunate to only have some things fall off the wall. I guess some places had windows shattered, chimneys cracked, a litlle bit of road damage but nothing too serious. I know I wouldn't want to live in California where things like this happen frequently.

Try Alaska, we have about 3-5 earthquakes per DAY! (Now you know why there are no brick houses in Alaska). Granted they are low magnatude quakes, we do get some pretty good hits thoughout the year (5.4 a month or so ago, with 7.1 being my personal best).
