Easiest way to learn Spanish?

Even if I never use it, I will make another $55/ week if I can demonstrate that I can speak/write Spanish at my job. Not a huge pay increase but hey, it's a tank of gas. Other than immersing myself in the culture, does any know of any good software that teaches more than, "sir, where is the bathroom?"

to OP, have you looked for an intensive course, maybe one-on-one or a class in your area? figure you spend $3-500 on one, pick up the basics and with the extra $55/week your tuition will be made up in about a couple months.
