Eat right and excersize or take lipitor and other pills?
"Moral: FAT PEOPLE ARE HARDER TO KIDNAP!" <--haha, that's funny!
Yeah, I took xenadrine when it still had ephdrene in it. It made me work out ALOT and it suppressed my appetite as well. I lost 30lbs in one semester. It's been a year and a half since I've taken any (i was starting to lose sleep because of it). I'm starting to take hydroxycut now along with lots of exercise. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if it's as effective as xenadrine.
but yeah, definately exercising and eating right makes a HUGE difference! if any pills...make sure you take your vitamins when you diet!

Yah, I think the answer is obvious here - exercise and diet are the cornerstones of healthy living. All those weight loss pills and other hokey bullshit are just that. You may lose weight, but you could also be doing irreversible harm to your body. In some cases, you'd have been better off being obese (Phen-fen anyone?). Just another case of lazy-ass people seeking the easy way out without thinking about its long-term ramifications. I know this because I took one bottle of Xenadrine WITH ephedra about 2 years ago in addition to my weekly workout routine. Screwed me up for a whole month....never again. Tell your coworker that if he has a personal problem with his weight to keep his hands off the Hagen Daaz!
As you can clearly see, when people lose weight, most become just a smaller fat person. Thats due to their crappy diet, they just over-excercise and under-eat.
After you get your diet right is when you should look into extra help after you hit a plateau. The only good legal fat burner is ephedrine, for now. If you go to the dark side, clenbuterol, DNP, T3 and HGH all help.
Like the above posts, I used ephedrine and I lost about 80lbs with a rippling 6pack. Too bad they are ridding of it. I wouldnt waste my money with ANY other fat burning supplement.

Sex currenlty is the only exercise I get but in the summer I will Motocross and bicycle....I reduced my cholestoral level by taking Niacin, Omega 3 Fish Oils and Garlic pills(all natural) down to excellent levels.......I don't eat that bad and do not snack but beer is my worst enemy.

It's true that statins can cause liver 'injury', but so do many other stuffs we put in our body. The risk of liver damage is obviously higher when we combine it with medications that can also cause damage to the liver. Many of the reported severe liver damages were seen in patients with multiple anticholesterol or other medications.
Back to the question of this thread, yes it is possible to decrease your cholesterol with diet/exercise as long as you don't have familial hypercholesterolemia. The question then is 'are you discipline enough to accomplish same level as the medications? Unfortunately, many people are not and have to turn to the 'quick fix'. There are also people who have persistent high cholesterol despite doing all the right things.
i'm not a expert, but from my experience this has worked for me.
wake up in the morning...eat good breakfeast. after about 30 mins. go for a little run. this doesnt have to be 10 miles. i do about 3-5 miles.
afterwards i drink protein shake and eat a fruit of my choice.
eat moderate lunch.
about 1500-1600 or 3 - 4 pm i eat another moderate meal, something very small or protein shake again.
i go do weights, maybe go swimming or bicycle.
come home and eat good dinner.
before i go to bed i do 100-300 set ups and about 100-300 push ups while i'm watching TV.
if you do this you would be in good shape in no time.
