I was wondering if anybody on the forum works full time on ebay selling items. i have been thinking about doing this seriously along with my current job.

currently i sell on ebay quite a bit and it has motivated me to reach higher goal to becoming a powerseller and selling large quantity of items on ebay.

i would like some input and where i should start to get my foot in the door.

Unless you have access to merchandise at wholesale pricing or below I think its quite difficult to make enough money as a full time gig. I do it on the side with a few things here or there.(Man I miss the dell computer deals of yore...).

The problem simply is what do you sell and where do you obtain it?

I was interested in doing this as well as a side gig for extra money... It's just hard to find good stuff at wholesale to flip on ebay.

i work at a toyota dealer and we sell some more unique cars and trade ins as well as some motorcycles we trade in on ebay. it has done very well for us.

back 2 years or so ago we had a leftover limited sequoia that i sold on ebay to a guy from greenwich,ct. he made well over $100k a year selling some music equipment, but mostly sports equipment on ebay.

you wouldn't have guessed it with this guy either (which is the case alot nowadays).

they key is though, people on ebay are looking for GREAT GREAT deals. that they can get for much cheaper than driving to the store to get it. so just keep that in mind and good luck
