Ebay/Pay Pay fees question
Always add all fees to your set amount before setting it up for biddings. As far as shipping your stuck with paying unless you find someone stupid enough or desperate enough to pay for it. These are the guild lines I always follow when I sell something on ebay.

What if in the description of the item I tell people to add 3% for pay pal fees?
you weren't prepared for the costs involved in the transaction, and rather than learn a lesson and give the seller the deal that you both legally agreed on (because you didn't think things through fully), he got screwed, i'm ok with that, because anyone buying a mac is already getting screwed
If you read my posts I already refunded every penny he gave. Ebay charged me $19.90 because the auction sold. But it didn't really because I refunded his money back.

welcome to ebay/paypal fee charges.. i quit selling on ebay millenia ago. they're greedy crooks
and to the OP, glad you refunded at least. Like people said, add the fees into your shipping costs because the shipping costs are not counted toward your fees.
