Well thus far no luck.
Relocating would be very hard at best since I had decided to buy a house and closed 2 months ago. I guess it depends on how long I have to wait to get another job on how desperate I will become. I was even contemplating going to the local Honda dealer and offering to sell cars, even tho I imagine that entails 12 hr days in the hot sun.

And to think last week I was going wow, I'm doing ok and I can start saving around $1,000 a month...

Oh well.

I don't know how updated the site is: www.dreamworks.com, but they usually have a "job oppurtunity" section or something. I know that around the campus pages of "open postions" are usualy posted up weekly or biweekly. I think most of it is currently techy stuff. I'm an artist, so I don't deal with the IT or programming stuff.

Theyre also hiring animators (3d, experienced) quite often....

I went to school at Art Center majoring in transportation (car) design, and had a class co-taught by two art directors from DreamWorks. Fun class, but never gave animation a second thought. Graduated, got a call from DreamWorks, and they said the instructors had recommended me...so, I submitted a portfolio and wala.
