That seems to be a pretty reasonable explanation. Still, it has to be difficult for an educated man to kill himself.

Maybe the other officers were worried about his testimony to Congress.

Maybe.

The sad thing is, his son which name will not be said was friends with me since middle school. My friend lived like 1 minute away from me and I've never met the father really, but the son was in my grade and was a very cool guy. I'm really saddened by this when my father told me the news. I never knew his family was that rich, and his son driving a porchse i guess made me think again how rich they were. Deep blow to our community. I hope nothing gets worst for them.

rich doent mean a jack when you are dead and doing illegal activities to achieve $.
i personally dont feel sadened at all, i think he deserved what he got.
think about all the people that lost $ in Enron and how they feel now, people who was going to retire and lost all their $. but i guess justice was done at the end.

Suicide? Maybe... but I doubt it!

"XXX was found dead today in the trunk of his car with three shots through the back of the head, of an apparent suicide".

This was the story line out of Providence, RI when the Mafia owned the police, press, etc. back in the early '80s.
