It's weird. You kinda prioritize things in life and find out what really matters. I really don't fear death at all anymore. It can come at anytime and I have no control over it.
There are many instances where LSD psychotherapy on terminal cancer patients dealing with depression and anxiety has brought them closer to understanding and accepting death as another step in life, rather than fearing it. There are some really, really profound stories; things like walking through walls of flames, having your body ripped to shreds, and so on. What's crazy is many of their experiences share some of the same archetypal images and depictions that aboriginal cultures have described as the moment of passing and the spiritual journey you take after death. Many people see or experience things which they have no correlation to in their real lives, but a little research shows they match up with some religious beliefs of tribes and cultures from other parts of the world. Makes you believe we are all part of an underlying, shared experience.

Being serious? You know it's possible to train yourself to be more responsive in your dreams, and take control. Pretty cool stuff.
Detonator - How did it feel as you "came to terms" with your imminent death?
Where is S2000raj, isn't he an anesthesiologist? There are a lot of stories of strange experiences during operations.

That's pretty crazy very rarely am I in a dream where I feel like I am in control, but it happens sometimes. Often my dreams are simply obscure, haven't had a nightmare in a long time. Haven't had a really good dream in a while, either.
The one I had pretty much is a nail on the head about what you read. I had a dream (don't remember the specifics) but in this dream, I was told (not necessarily by a person or anything) that something bad would happen today.
I woke up, and just for the hell of it I told my mom about my dream incase it came true so someone could believe me if the dream proved correct.
The day went by, nothing happened. I went to a car meet later that day and when I was on my way home, I ended up getting into an accident.
Pretty crazy if you ask me.

Could it possibly be that things materialize because you have a premonition and forethought of them already happening? I know that sounds redundant, but what I'm meaning is: If "something bad" is on your mind all day, do you have a tendency to will "something bad" to happen?
...call me crazy or it a coincidence or whatever, but on the night of September 10, 2001 I had a dream of an airplane flying into a building... The next day I was at school walking to my class, and noticed that a lot of the tvs in the other classrooms were on and people were watching the news, which was unusual. I had a weird sort of flashback to my dream, and then when I got to my class and saw on the news about what was happening, my mind started to put the two together, and my mind went back to the dream... It was way weird and can't really explain it tbh

From: All up in your inner tubes. Whatcha gonna do sucka?

I pulled it off once or twice, but I smoke too much to remember my dreams (they're much more vivid when I take some time off from it), and I'm too lazy to keep a dream journal
I agree with Magician. Physicists dont even totally understand gravity or what it really is. For example, we know what electricity is and now to manipulate and harness it. Gravity we do not.
Same goes for the true understanding of time itself, its it merely a symbol such are the letters that are making up this paragraph, or is it really like a 3D globe that can be traveled?
Anything beyond that, paranormal and so on, its very possible to exist. Think about it, once it was believed that the world was flat and anyone who thought otherwise was considered an idiot.
The possibilities are endless. Science fiction is nearing reality.
