is every celeb in rehab?

I'll give you E, and certain opiates. But that's it. Who wants to do coke in college? All you do is sit there and buzz for 25 minutes, and then you're left with nothing but a craving. Drugs like marijuana, LSD, shrooms, and E last for hours and are enjoyable in a college atmosphere (whether that's at a club, at a frat, dorms, etc.) and are cheap enough for college kids to obtain them regularly. A hit of LSD, or E, or shrooms, is only going to cost you from $5-40, and you'll be gone for hours, and once you're done, you go back to normal (most of the time). Coke and heroin, no way. I'd say a majority of people who truly "enjoy drugs" as a recreational experience (tripping) stay away from cocaine. Cocaine is simply a status symbol for losers (IMO). I can go run a mile and get my heart rate up, but nothing can provide the experience of other drugs (and at such an affordable cost to young'ns)

Beer and marijuana are definitely the most prevalent means of "recreation" in college. Some psychedelics here and there. Everything else is too expensive and/or takes so much out of you that I doubt you stick around for long. I don't even know what's so "awesome" about the cocaine high. Never tried it, never will. But I can see where the intrigue can come from, especially with all those celebrities.
My girlfriend's friend actually asked her if she was scared that if we had kids - that they might be deformed because of the coke problem I used to have, and she also thought that it changed your DNA... which is completely and utterly ridiculous. A few recreational uses at a party here and there can be fun; but most of it comes from having a bunch of people around all chatting each other's head off and the actual act of doing it. People at a party get curious when they see people doing it, and all of a sudden you're the life of the party.
Yeah - it's fun for a bit. You get a pretty instant euphoria. You can still function - drive, hold a baby, take your dog for a walk - you just feel like your on top of the world and want to talk a lot. When you first start, it's like you feel empathetic for everyone and want to get everyone else to try it because you feel so great. Have you ever tried adderal? It's very similar actually - and adderal lasts a lot longer too.
Typical lines only last 30 minutes or so - usually your front two top teeth become extremely numb - but your entire face can get numb if the stuff is pretty pure. It starts to wear off quickly and you feel nautious - so you do more to keep from feeling bad. Before you know it you're doing it before work and school, all day every day. It's not that expensive, but the fact that you have to do so much makes it such. You either go broke, or start selling it. I unfortunately got caught up pretty badly at one point and sold it - to all my friends, and many of them still struggle off and on with it. Looking back, it's quite embarrassing and gives you a great feeling of guilt, despite their willingness to try.
It is NOT physically addictive. It is not like Heroin or Methamphetamine, your body can not get addicted to it. It is mentally addictive, and after awhile it just makes you irritable and you change as a person - even hating yourself for the person you become. The nautious feeling becomes almost permanent, and after awhile it has to stop.
These celebs that get caught up in it and go to rehab - complete BS. One day I just quit, because it was time and I realized that it was a horrible drug. The people in rehab for it I feel are just weak minded - if they really wanted to stop they would. But having the "rush" of the media, the partying, and the drama that they love to feel I can understand, however it is very shallow nonetheless.
I think alcohol, weed, meth, and coke are the most abused substances because the initial effects aren't that big of a deal. People like to relax with alcohol/weed, and meth and coke are both uppers. They're easy to do and the effects don't impair you that much. Now, something like LSD/DOC/2CB/2CI/DXM - those are probably the most "serious" affecting drugs I can think of off hand - that's the stuff that is really insane

) although that's more of a dissociative like Ketamine and nitrous) as long as you are a strong minded person and don't go out in public. They are popular in college campuses but they go in waves. Most people try them once or twice and don't go there again because it can be frightening.Trippers can always pick out a fellow tripper.
Websites, game programmers, musicians, artists (check out my oil painting in my avatar) should be obvious to the ones who have "been there"
Yeah DXM is different from other psychedelics. It does have the mental "mysticism" of other psychedelics, but it's much, much more harmful to your brain, and at a certain point you just can't handle it (throwing up and everything). Psychedelics are great fun if you're prepared for them, and if you're not predisposed to any mental health issues. And usually people try LSD or something else, have a bad trip, and never go back. I agree on the celeb thing. Like I said, it's a glamour drug. Oh so you've made it big, why not go out the "tragic" way
I love your avatar, first thing I noticed. There's no way you made that! High res? Do you have more?

It's very, very scary at first - completely different yet similar to seratonergics. However, there have been tests showing significant brain damage to some people and I believe loss of feeling in extremities (nose, fingers, toes) due to vitamin B12 depletion? I can't remember. In any case, that stuff has to be used very seldomly or you'll go retarded

Yep, that's an oil painting of mine. I'm actually a ceramic sculpture major. Here's a few crappy digicam shots of some of my 2D stuff:
There's glare on the outlines of parts of the tentacles - I used a stand oil medium which is very glossy and the flash picked it up and reflected it. This is 2.5x2.5 feet - The main "body" if you look closely is actually an ear, and the big round hole at the bottom is where you would stretch your ear lobe - I have 1/2 inch stretched plugs in my ears so it's kind of a representation of myself:

This one's not finished yet, still working - check out all the hidden heads
. Again, you can see reflective glare on parts where I used the gloss medium unfortunately:
This is a 35mm print - was part of a series of photographs I did on theoretical time travel

This is a 35mm print also with photogram overlay and acrylic wash:

Sorry to thread hijack
And yeah, celebs suck
