I guess it kind of depends on the basis of the break-up. If it was messy and such or you dropped the old one for the new one.......anybody will worry!

Though if it was mutual or you guys just were at different points in life and just nicely separated then ya know it might not be so bad. Some people are just not made to be gf/bf's. Fortunatly for me I have not had any real bad breakups though if I saw a couple of them around now I would feel really wierd inside.

An ex from HS got my e-mail address from Classmates.com. We exchanged polite e-mails for a few weeks. This girl was very good looking so that memory seemed to keep my interest for a few weeks. She finally sent me a current picture and "ouch," she moved to Baltimore and got on the see food diet. She seriously plumped. She now looks like the fat Monica from "Friends." I kind of dissolved contact after that.

Funny thing is, I really had no sexual or relationship interest in her, but seeing her fat just made me not want to go through the effort of maintaining any correspondence or friendship. Damn, I am shallow.

I ignore ex-girlfriends as much as possible. I don't speak to any of them, ever. It's only fair to my girlfriend now. If I bump into an ex (which almost never happens), I ignore them, if possible. I have no shame about it. Usually they break up with me anyway, so it's pretty easy.

What gets me is the "almost girlfriends" that you bump into! You know -- the girls that you're still kicking yourself for not...ahem. You get the idea.

I don't do high rpm clutch drops but if it were my ex I'd make an exception. I'd then turn to my passenger and say, "Geez, they have big speed bumps around here!"
