So I live in a small town, not to small but smaller than Austin called round rock, tx and the cops here are pricks! Yesterday I got pulled over for "apparently" not signaling while changing lanes and not having my front tag on my bumber. He let me go. Today I get pulled over AGAIN!!! WTF! WHAT ARE THE ODDS, SERIOUSLY!!! this time this cop is a douche and asked why my tags are not on my bumber and I say im getting a custom bracket, then he says my taillights are illegal because there tinted! I know there tinted but know for damn sure you can see them and there fading as well. So people that can give advice for me on how to mount a plate on a AP2 bumper and give me facts about rules of the road for front tags in your state perferbably in texas, since I know other states dont need them. Give me your 2 cents on this crap and advice to if the cop is wrong. Ill also add that im the ONLY spa s2k with a cf hood thats slammed but I obey the laws in Round Rock cuz those cops don't mess around! Im gonna fight this and hope I can get the charges dropped

If you're so visibly illegal, I'd imagine getting pulled over multiple times daily wouldn't be unexpected. Plus, you're in a small town, so the cops will know you.

 

Im not trying to get pulled over on purpose and I see loads of cars with no tags on thier cars especially those illegal people that dont speak english alot of those are around here and in my apartment (im hispanic btw so dont throw a fit) but im just saying why must cops go for the people that think there gonna pay thier salaries I mean if I were rich would I be getting up at 5 in the morning to go to a piss ass dead end job (dell) and go to school no?! I would be having money fights with bill gates....im just pissed thats all

You're not quite obeying the law if you have tinted lights and no front plate so it's a risk you take. I took it too because I hate front plates, and get a ticket for it in the past. Now I don't need them where I live.

Cop doesn't sound in the wrong to me.

Texas law requires two license plates. Both visible in the front and back. I've been pulled over for it but he let me go because I knew the cop. I didn't know about the tinted tail lights thing.

My advice, take a picture with your license plate on your front bumper, go to court and show the judge that you fixed it, she'll waive the ticket, then take the plate back off.

and really now man, i live in MD and I didn't have a front plate on when I should have for a while. I never got in trouble for it (somehow) but I know plenty of people that did. so really it was bound to happen, i mean cuhmahhhn! just deal with it and it's not like it was the cops fault to do his own job
