remember when i downloaded the Splinter Cell demo, well i tried again and this time, it erased all my other videos without telling me a thing before it happend.

well, now i downloaded all the .dll files and put them in the right directories but when i open the Splinter Cell demo, this is what i get

Output Window (Starting): SplinterCell.exe - Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point MakeCriticalSectionGlobal could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.

what the heck am i supposed to do?

KERNEL32.dll ? that is a massively major file to your computer. That is one of the core dll files that makes windows work. TO me it sounds like you have a virus (because of videos being deleted) so I would run a virus scan, and failing that, if you have XP, revert back to an earlier state. If you don't have XP, I'll let the other computer geeks help ya out ^___^

by the way, Splinter Cell is coming to PS2 either in March or April. I'm not too crazy about getting an XBOX. I'm satisfied enough with the PS2

Well, DLL (Dynamic Link Library) files are what control the flow of data and where said data goes when your computer is active. Kernel32.dll is the file that controls the file system and program operation.
