Default Failed My Drivers Test

Title says it all, i am so freaking bummed. I was at an interesection turning left and when the light turn green and there were no on coming cars, i went for it. Turns out i had drifted to the right lane (you're suppose to go left to left) and there was a car parked in the right lane so i had to signal and change lanes back to the left. the instructor said that i techincally changed lanes twice and didnt signal or check mirrors the frist time. Worst of all, i didnt find out until the very end when he let me know that was considered a dangerous manuver which calls for a automatic fail. Cant take it again untill the 19th... so so bumed and freaking ashamed.

Anyone else have stories to share to make me feel a little better?

I failed my driver's test the first time also. I had to pull over to the side and reverse in a straight line. I went over the curb and failed. I was somewhat agitated also. Don't worry, you'll get it sooner or later.

Yeh I kind of failed, well I had to take the test fast because I had just turned 16 and needed a car to be cool lol and take my date to the dance in my own car. Well I probably should have practiced more but I did ok but I messed up on parralel parking and right when the test was about to be over with some guy walks into my parking spot and the intructor is like all frekaing out thinking i will hit him and then touches my steering wheel and i guess thats an automatic fail. So I take the test ASAP again since the dance is near and I come in and the lady says I did pass with an 81!! but then my dad is like you have to be honest so I did do the test again and passed but to this day I hate parralel parking and probably will never get it right.

Not gonna get my own car till college. Gonna be driving the Audi S6 or the Boxter S depending on which is avaliable. Taking the the test in the S6 might have been a bit cocky.

My friend failed 4 times before finally passing. I feel sorry for him, he had to go through that 6 month thing and pay the fees twice.

I think the Boxster S would have been worse

on my 16th birthday, i started my first day of driving instruction. half hour into the lesson, the instructor felt i was ready for the exam. we drove to a dmv where my instructor had connections and was able to hook me up with a driving exam within the next hour. i took the test, got a perfect score of 100, went back inside the DMV, had my photo taken and my finger printed, and headed home. as soon as i walked into the door, my mom asked me how my first day of lesson went. without a word, i showed her my new temporary driver's liscense, asked her to borrow her car, and hung out with my friends the rest of the afternoon. hopefully, my story is making you feel better.

^ OMG that's scary.

We can't do that here

Get learners at 16, must drive for 1 full year with someone with 5 years experience in the passenger seat, if you take a course you get to knock that down to 8 months. Then you can get your full license, but it's still not full. You do the test get it, you can drive alone but not at night past midnight till 5 am or something. Your not suppose to use the radio (like that's going to be enforced) and other restrictions. Then after you do this for 1 full year you can get your unrestricted license.

I passed first time, one of my friends failed the first time because he was "not agressive enough" waiting to turn right he waited for traffic to clear. Then the second time he failed for being "too agressive" LOL
