the day i turned fifteen i went and got my temporary drivers license, and then enrolled in a driving course, three months later i got my restricted drivers license, sayin i could drive alone in daylight hours, then when i turned 16 i got my full drivers license, sayin i could drive whenever, because i went a year without any traffic violations. Normally you have to be 17 before you can get a full drivers license, now that i think of it, thats kind of scary being able to drive by yourself when three months prior you were only 14 years old but i have always been before my time

Don't feel bad. More than 2 out of 5 people fail the test in California. Just practice some more and get used to driving forward and backward (parallel parking, etc.). Good luck next time!

Well, I learned on a stick when I was 14. My mom wanted me to start driving a bit, and said I couldnt learn on an auto because if you can drive stick, you can drive anything. I got my permit at 15 and on my 16th B-day, I got my license.

Practice makes perect.....dont get too cocky or they will fail you!!

Be thankful you don't have to get a Driver's License in Germany. Aside from the cost (several thousand dollars) you actually have to be able to drive properly. Want a harder exam, try getting a motorcycle license there. The huge upside to all that is they have the Autobahn .

Because of the majority of unskilled drivers here we have things like mom's blocking the fastlane pointing (I can't call it driving ) their SUV's at 70mph.

Sad part is most parents can't be bothered to invest any time teaching their children to drive until a few months before they are of age to get a license. I have two boys ages 5 & 3 and they both have racing karts to drive. So by the time the drive on the street they will have many miles of driving skills under their belts.

Good luck dude and try to get into a racing school it may save your life.

" and what are you doing on an s2000 board. "

I've always liked the S2000, and considered it one of my options since the first saw the concept photos Then i saw pics of my uncle's S800 and went crazy about it. Its a 30k dollar car with a 9k redline, a push button starter, and screams F1 pedigree, whats there not to love?
Not to mention, S2ki has got the most awesome OT board, its like news, entertaninment, and perversions all balled into one little site! : D

And please, not spoiled, "privleged".

Thanks for the stories guys, feeling alot better now, just got a 4 or my mock AP Biology exame today and everything is looking a little brighter. Cant wait till the 19th to take that shit again, i am gonna OWN that test!

P.S. Funny thing is, all the times while i was in drivers training, the instructor kept saying that i am a good driver and how i'll pass no problem. Guess i got a bit overconfident.

When parrallel parking you can also pointed your passenger side mirror toward you rear passenger tire to ensure that you don't hit the curb. Just make sure they can't tell. I did and parked perfect. OF COURSE this is Kentucky. Long as you can drive a lawn mower they will give you your lisence

When you consider how much time and money most European citizens spend earning the right to drive -- and learning how to drive properly, you are lucky -- and we are all a little less safe.
