All from my favorite quotetmeister, W.C. Fields

'Twas a woman drove me to drink. I never had the courtesy to thank her.

Once ... in the wilds of Afghanistan, I lost my corkscrew, and we were forced to live on nothing but food and water for days.

Some weasel took the cork out of my lunch.

A man's got to believe in something. I believe I'll have another drink.

I don't drink water, fish fuc$ in it

"Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty... I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led diffcult lives and led them well."

Theres a quote that really caught my eye and it belongs to the sig of an S2Ki member (I can't remeber who, I apologize for taking it from you):

"There are many defining moments in this world, $hit happens, how you deal with it defines your charater."

And a quote from my friend's book:

"People say that you can learn from your own mistakes. Thats true, but I'd rather learn from others' mistakes and let them deal with the consequences for me."

I like these too. I was only saying the other day that you learn a lot about a person by how they treat you when you're in true need of help.

The quote in my sig is just something that I stole from a Mos Def song. I thought it was interesting in that maybe it was an ordinary view on life at one point in time as opposed to the extraordinary philosophy it now appears to be
