Off-hand I don't recall the exact numbers, but you are looking at around 20 hours of work for every hour in the air. Quite expensive when you can't find parts or qualified folks to work on it for you. What's more, the russian approach has always been to build rugged, if poorly constructed aircraft with engines that are not meant to see long hours before tear down and rebuild. The U.S. takes the opposite approach. When you consider the assumed lifetime in a state of actual use (i.e. combat) is around 17 hours, you have to wonder who has the right approach.
Older F-80's, Mig 15's or even 21's are a better buy for the above mentioned reasons.
