Big into Everclear right now. Specially Santa Monica, heartsparkdollarsign, etc.

Also always like Rush's Red Barchetta. Here's a link to the magazine article that inspired the song. Quite cool and eerily prophetic?!? http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/4893/nicemdrv.html

Also enjoying

Static-X - Bled for days, push it
Metallica - Better than you (specailly true in the S!!)
Metallica - Ain't my bitch
Iron Maiden - Run to the hills
Gravity Kills - Guilty
Prodigy - smack my bitch
Rage against the machine - wake up
Marilyn Manson - rock is dead (gotta love the matrix soundtrack!!)
Rob/White Zombie - pert near anything

Wow, great taste in tunes, guys and gals. I have to credit Sondra for turning me on to Juke Joint Jezebel. I was into Thrill Kill in the 80s, but hadn't heard anything from them is a while.

Other driving favorites include:

Sisters of Mercy - Vision Thing, great collection of greatest hits called 'A Slight Case of Overbombing' or something similar to that.
Rush - anything on Hemispheres, especially La Villa Strangiata
Oasis - outstanding new album, can't stop listening to it.
DM - anything
Ministry - anything on Twitch or Psalm 69 (pure adrenalin!)
New Order - Ceremony and Lowlife
Gin Blossoms - Dayjob
Soundgarden - Superunknown
Eric Johnson - any of his 3 brilliant albums
Joe Satriani - Crystal Planet or Flying in a Blue Dream
The Smiths - Meat is Murder and The Queen is Dead
Lenny Kravitz - Are You Gonna Go My Way? and Velveteen
Skinny Puppy - Tin Omen
Tangerine Dream - anything, especially late at night

Then, of course, there is also the silence that I generally prefer on the highway. Much of the time, I turn the whole thing off and listen the music from the motor and exhaust...

Your driving down a deserted hiway late at night...

You hear the sound of drums...

Dah Dah Dah Dahdah, Dah Dah Dah Dahdah,

A keening wail comes from behind you...

Out of the land of the Ice and Snow...

Oh yeah I love Tool Aenima also

Have to add Deep Purple Hiway Star to any list like this

Megadeath Hello Me meet the Real Me (or what ever that title is)

Motley Crue Dr. Feelgood (ok Girls, Girls, Girls if on a bike)

And just incase the above opening drum beat is wrong... The Immigrant's Song by Led Zep...

Just before you push the red ENGINE START button, there is only one song you should be listening to: The Rolling Stones Start Me Up!
