from out of nowhere try these:

1. Sony Playstation Ridge Racer Type 4 (R4) soundtrack (Japanese Version) - lots of cool instrumental jazz/rock style tracks.

2. Sony Playstation Gran Turismo soundtrack (Japanese Version) - lots of cool instrumental techno style tracks.

Songs that cause me to drive unnecessarily fast:

"Born to be wild" Steppenwolf
"Magic Carpet Ride" Steppenwolf
"Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)" Hendrix Experience
"Stone Free" Hendrix Experince
"Brown Sugar" Stones
"Gimme Shelter" Stones
"Run through the Jungle" Creedence
"Rock n Roll" Zeppelin

Songs that calm me down a bit and make me sing off-key with big smile on my face:

anything by Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson or The Temptations.

What? No Salsa?!!! Gots to have some salsa on this list! My red rocket was christened with Ricky Martin's "Living La Vida Loca". It has since been inundated with "Shake your bon-bon", and "Cup of Life" as well.

Also, Enrique Iglesias, "Rhythm divine"

Marc Anthony's, "I need to know".
