One of the great things about being the father of a 6 year old boy is being able to play again ! ! ! !
I (I mean we) have such a great time playing with all the cool toys that are out now.

Has anybody experienced Rokenbok? There is nothing more satisfying than building a structure and, using R/C vehicles, picking up a load of little plastic balls and loading them onto a conveyor, pushing them around, or dumping them into a chute and watching them fall into a hopper and then push them around some more with the dozer!!!

Vertibird! That's another great one. I recently got one of those ... for my son of course!!

Maybe I'm just a big kid! After all, I do have an arcade pinball machine and an arcade video game too!

I could go on all night on this subject!!!

Toys!!! Gotta have 'em!!!

LEGO ... All you need is imagination ... mmm, my favorite. Damn, you know how many parents and kids make them rich? They're quite rich for a toy making company. I used to spend all my allowance to buy a set when I have enough money. This is one of my favorite ones as well.

Add one more to the Lego crowd, I used to actually go in competitions, and win! more lego, and I loved it, I've got about 6 garbage bags full. I almost shat when I saw the price of this stuff now.

but there was this one toy, the Starship Enterprise. It went around in a circle, and you could make it go up and down, fast and slow. you would wheel in, slow down pick something up and back off you went. It was the coolest. Do you guys remember this?

Slot racers were pretty cool. When they came out with ones that changed lanes, I was like "damn, I got to get that!".

Star Wars toys and action figures. . .
GI JOE toys and action figures (I thought the "cut out" personnel info cards that came with each figure were great). . .
Transformers. . . More than meets the eye
Voltron (the Lions only!!)

However, Legos (space sets) definitely topped all of the above. . . I actually bought the Star Wars X-wing, Y-wing, and Millenium Falcon sets last year. . . Putting those together made me feel 15 years younger. . .

Intellivision & my Texas Instruments TI-99 computer were also great. . . I used to play "defender" and "pole position" for hours on that Texas Instruments POS. . . Though it was a great way to learn how to write BASIC.
