I don't care how you got your nickname on the board, but it isn't as good as "Easy-Bake" would be.

What did your Dad think when his boy was aching for an Easy-Bake? Mine would have been pretty upset.

I had forgotten about the Hot Wheels Car Wash. I had one too.

I'm still pissed off I didn't save more of my toys, but here's my fav's.

Lego's - built a model of the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) for a science project once (still have 'em all)
Construx, Robotix, Capsella - still have 'em
160-in-one electronics set - loved that thing
Erector sets - long gone unfortunately
slot racers - doubt my track still works though
Transformers, Go-bots, HeMan (had both battlecats and both castles), and MASK
Atari 2600 - still works
And of course, anything and everything I could get my hands on to take apart. The youth of an engineer.

Yeah, those used to be in the grass at school. We'd always pick them up and wait till they rolled up int o a ball. Thought it was the coolest thing. Guess a lot of things impress you when you're a little kid.

What about the Chemistry set !!!
The first thing I did was all of the experiments that involved FIRE !!!!
Then I'd try to add fire to the ones that weren't supposed to burn ! ! !
How about those sets where you'd melt plastic into spiders and other shapes. I think I burned myself every time I played with that one !!!

Hmmm...Now that I think about it, I think my son is ready for a chemistry set!!! (in my best Bevis voice) Fire!!! Fire!!!!
