yup, i know they are old-fashioned, but need to replace an office fax machine...
we need a "moderate" use machine- not really high volume but a lot more than at home-
and i know we should be using our computers for this, but my assistant wants a new fax machine-
she is telling me that we should buy a brother 4750e (about $500).
any of my brothers (or sisters!) have thoughts on a brother fax machine?

 

They work great and hardly ever jam. My office has three. Only thing to look out for is the Toner cartridge, they tend to wear somewhat quickly. I say about 6 months depending on how much you fax. And we fax A LOT. Other than that great machine, I

 

I have an HP FAX 700, it's a plain paper fax that I want to get rid of. It's been lightly used. PM me if you are interested.

I had a Brothers and it was a POS. Also have a HP700 or 710 (?) works great, no problems.

 

morris- how long ago?
that is the reason that i posted- i had heard that about the older brothers... but understand that they have fixed their quality issues.
