Fedex Rat Race
i work for one of these big shipping companies and honestly, all delivery companies have their problems. It comes down to the person working, not the company itself. I've herd horror stories from our warehouses of workers stealing xboxs and playstations. But ya, if u know someone who works in the brokerage part, u can usually get some charges taken off, lol...wink wink
I've worked for both FedEx and UPS, and I'd say that while individuals do have an effect on what happens to a package, you're still talking a crapshoot on a converyor belt in a warehouse full of moving packages.
I'd say UPS is the better company, but if you ship a lot with either you'll have your share of horor stories. UPS has a more distributed operation than FedEX, so it is far more reliable for ground delivery IMHO. If you don't need it overnight and don't have an account with FedEx, I'm not sure why you'd use them.

Btw, if you can deal with DHL's technicalities, they're probably the best to use if your shipping internationally.
Checked tracking this morning and after arriving in Orlando LAST Friday it is finally departing. Took them a week to figure out what was going on. Not that I ever use Fedex to begin with but this is just one more reason not to.

Orlando is doing a great job scanning that package in every morning.
