I'd do that but the two doors in my room are too close to the adjacent walls. I think my dad designed the house this way so our beds can't face doors.

In India there is a similar thing called Vastu. There is some reasilstic basis to these things that eventually gets lost in translations and lore. Parts of these things ring true and can become more true if you want to believe in them.

 

i see what you mean, i understand that there can be differing opinions. most of the time specialists have different opinions because some is lying or totally full of shit.

if 3 mechanics tell you three different things about the same vehicle problem, either someone is misdiagnosing it, or someone is lying.

but this scenario would be the equilvalent of you taking your car in because it wont strat and you get one person who tells you that it has a bad brake caliper, the other says that your radio isnt getting very good reception, and the thrid says that you shou;ld adjust your mirrors, and then the car will be willed to start. makes about the same amount of sense.

when money comes into the equation, it is too easy to make up some hocus pocus and try to pawn it off as science.

and having different school of thought shouldnt completely contradict one another and the observable result should be the same. for example there are different shcools of thought as to how an airfoil works. either way the thng ****ing flys.

also,(i am not saying that this is what you are doing) it pisses me off when someone can be convince of something just because there is no clear way to disprove it. but on the other hand they have absolutley no proof that it is in any way real other than annecdotal eveidence which we all know is the most unreliebale source.

for example, i cant prove that there are not energy paths that are at work in your house and that by rearranging your furniture you can achieve happiness or wealth or a bigger dick or what ever. but they cant prove that there is. heres the difference... my belief that there is no magic at work is completley on par with science where as the belief other wise completley goes against what we accept to be factual and provable. and the people that believe in this shit or any other paranormal or religious susperstitions do so without any proof what so ever. it has allways seemed really odd to me that people can believe in whatever for no reason at all other than the fact that someone tells them that it is a good idea to believe in it, but when some rational person says that they think it makes no sense to believe in it they believers allways fall back on "well you cant disprove it"

yeah but you dont beleieve in it because there was any proof, you just chose to believe in something that cotradicts reason or logic or reality as we know it. if you want to try to pawn off your superstition as something more than just an absurd belief, you have the burden of proof. not me.

I use Feng Shui to organize a room every time I move. The reason I believe in it is because it works for me. I

 

believing in something empowers it to work for you. there is nothing wrong with that. but trying to pawn something off as science is another thing.

i am sure that there is a lot of good that can come from practicing this. but only in the way that focusing on anything in a positive way can make you happier with it. moving furniture around is easy. its hard to **** it up. you do it right and you are happier. every one like things to be better looking or more efficient or whatever you are shooting for. feng shui encorporates pretty regular ideas and fundamentals for making your house just seem to flow better, but the science behind it is all just made up. being happier passes over into other aspects of your life and your may be more successful or what ever because of it. it just being in a positive mental frame.

all of that chi energy crap is a made up science to try and explain something that people are looking way too far into.

like, i could say that when ever i jack off it makes my whole life better. or more specifically when i jack off i am less likely to cheat on my girlfriend.
and the reason for it is because when i jack off i am using the most efficient means of casting out demon energy. demons live in your penis because they know that the penis is the source to a mens biggest problems and therefore they use your penis against you. while residing in the penis the demon energy sends out energy waves that effect the thought patterns and make men more prone to cheating. through an act of god or eveolution of maybe even alien engineering, our bodies have learned how to absorb this demon energy into our semen. then when we masturbate the demon energy is expelled, and they lose thier mind control powers, and we are less likely to cheat on our girlfriends.


in case you didnt notice, that was all a bunch of bullshit that i just made up. go figure. but technically you cant prove that demon energy doesnt exist. and you cant prove that aliens didnt genetically alter the penis of cromagnum man in order to give them the ability to dispose of demon energy. and if you jack off all of the time, chances are you wont have anything left in you to cheat with! so if someone told me that my theory was bullshit i could say some dumbass shit about how they cant disprove it and science cant explain everything and blah blah blah. and before you know it i make millions dollars selling the patent pending Mr.E.G. Anti Demon Energy Kit. and all it is is a pocket pussy with my logo on it. and sure, a million people will all swear that it works, and that they are less prone to cheat on thier girlfriends as a result. and the resulsts may in fact be real. but the so called science that explains the results is completley bogus. they are really just expelling semen and they lose some of thier sex drive as a result. but dont tell my stock holders that, LOL.
