hate to say it, but the 550 race version has already been developed and is racing on some circuits. Ferrari doesn't back them at all, unlike the 355 & 360 Challenge cars. But to compete in GT class... that would be interesting.

I'm sure Ferrari may be thinking of developing something like this but I am as sure they will not field a works team

They have a long and distinguished history of supplying race cars to private individuals for sports car racing.

A season in the 360 Challenge will be my treat to myself if I get a big lottery win

Well since CART is imploding, there may be a lot of sponsor
money to be had. Let's hope some of this cash go towards
the AMLS. More road racing = Good.
