i just noticed an ad for ferrari long island while browsing through this forum. does this company actually think the majority of us s2000 owners can afford ferraris?? talk about a waste of advertising money. also, i live in CA, and if i WAS to go buy a ferrari, i would not be buying one from a dealer in NY. i mean, since S2KI knows my location from my profile, shouldn't they at least use that info to be more selective as to what ads end up on my screen??

 

You expect a lot out of targeted ads, now don't you. The ad was very likely run by google ad service which scans a page for keywords and inserts ads based on what it sees. I'd be willing to bet that there was something on the page relating to Ferrari or exotic cars of some sort.
