Default A few reasons I h8 Home Depot

:rant-on:
1. Rude ass employees
2. Customer service sucks ass
3. I'm losing major money on the stock
ff:

Anyone else feel like this? i went a few nights ago to ask an employee for help. He looked like he was on probation and wanted to kill me. As soon as I can salvage some of my money, I'm selling and going with Lowes instead.

Yeah, HD has gone downhill quite a bit. In the beginning they hired mostly out of work and small time contractors. The service was exceptional and they knew what they were doing.

Then the home improvement industry got hot, these contractors left HD due to having an s-load of work and in come the flunkies. Now you'd be hard pressed to find someone with the slightest bit of intellect.

And yes, Lowes is MUCH better.

I got 120ft of molding for a grand total of $8.70 because the cashier thought that they were $.87 EACH, not per foot

That was the only time I have benefited from their stupidity however

I love those OSH ads making fun of warehouse stores. "Day 15, in the hardware aisle, maybe I'll find that rake I came for tomorrow. Will my kids remember me? Met another person yesterday, ... "

I don't mind the service at HD.. on the rare occation that I need to seek help about a product theres generally one or two guys that actually know something.

My biggest beef with HD is that very frequently they don't have what I need in stock. I've lost track of how many times this has happened, and it's very annoying. As soon as the local Lowes is built I'm NEVER going back.
