Jason Plato and Tiff Needell are awesome. They should be the only hosts on that show. I can't stand Vicki Butler-Henderson, she just annoys me to no end.

 

Fifth Gear is what you watch when Top Gear isn't on.

Top Gear for the entertainment, Fifth Gear for the driving. I respect Fifth Gear's conclusions more (in terms of subjective opinions on the cars) but I like how Top Gear does their lap times to put an objective slant to how well a car performs. It's a nice way of balancing the hosts' opinions (especially Jeremy's) with a measure of real-world performance that is consistent from car to car (weather aside).

 

It depends on what you are lookign for. If you want entertainment, Top Gear. If you want a serious comparison of cars 5th gear.

Either way they are both better than any car show made here in the states.

 

I've never seen 5th Gear, but even +1 likes Top Gear.
