I like it alot but, it looks similar to an s2000.

The pic of the rear looks like it has a hardtop, almost the same shape of taillights, dual exhaust, and the rims look like bigger stock rims.

The pic of the front looks like s2k's headlights, and the front bumper looks the same in a modified way.

As for the interior, it looks cool overall but, they had to take the s2k's red start button.

Dont get me wrong, i like the car but, it looks like Mazda may have borrowed some ideas.

 

That car looks awesome! I've always been attracted to it! (Maybe because of the little similarities to the "s".)

 

I think it looks great, I don't care if they have borrowed ideas from Honda in the design... it works .

 

Damn, that looks rediculously like an S2000... I think thats illegal to be that similar! And the engine start button looks the same... hum... I wonder how many of the engineers of that car own S2000s?

 

i would like it a lot if it wasn't rx- anything or did not have that cool rotary engine... you know what i mean?

i hate it because it's rotary engined- mazda- rx- something.

I like it and will it will be a great addition to the market, esp. for those drawn to the S2000's attributes but needing more space and practicality.

Not sure about the styling, I recall liking the pics of it in red better. It's not as nice looking as the G3 RX-7, but Mazda is trying to broaden the available market by making it a 4 seater and axing the turbo.

No trade for me, but I'm looking forward to a test drive!

 

I need my S2000-based sedan!! This Rx8 is pretty nice, I like it. I'm very anxious to see if it can even come close to generating that magic presence the S2K can.

 

I love how so many new sports cars come out, and they ALL resemble the S2000. Please.

The RX-8's design started way before the S2000. It has evolved some, but it doesn't really look like the S2000 to me. Has round head lights, must be the S2000. Has round tail lights, only the S2000 has those too. Has twin exhaust, wow, must be the S.

I can't wait until the new 350Z gets finalized, I'm sure that will look like the S2000 too.
