Well folks,

Surprise! Finally BMW has release information ahead of schedule! My M3 will be ready for delivery by Xmas and I can't think of a better present to myself.

Biggest changes are:

- SMGII available 11/01
- Bi-Xenon (HID) headlights
- Titan-trim for the interior as standard
- Topaz Blue metallic
- wider NAV screen (ala 5/7 series)

i've been a little slow at reading posts lately... i thought you
already had your M3.? why are you selling the S2000 now, instead of waiting until the M3 comes in (with SMG of course)??

Keeping the S2000 until Dec when the M3 comes in... just bought her the OEM front spoiler, looks great!

 

I didn't know you liked the M3, loki! This is news to me!

Seriously, you did the 100% correct thing by waiting for SMG, that sounds an awesome driving experience. Keep us posted how you like it...!

 

What is SMG?

 

I cancelled my order for M3 and picked up TL-S....go figure...
I kinda regret it once I saw the M3 on the road........but I'm sure I would be happy when the winter comes.

 

loki, the pdf you have posted doesn't have any new changes for the M3. I, too, am waiting for SMG. I have my spot pushed back because of it.

Do you know where to get the info of changes for the M3? I can't wait to drive the M3 on the RING, SMG style.

I had one for the last 24 hours, red with red interior... it was quite hard giving the keys back this morning!
This car gets seriously funny when you switch off the ACS and put the sport mode.
I still think it looks too fat and short, tho.
