Fire In The Hole Salsa from Trader Joe's
I grow Habaneros, Scotch bonnets, Thai dragons, Cayennes, Tabascos, Serranos - whatever I can find at the Fullerton Arboretum each Spring. And I use them to make some wicked hot salsa, and also some mild and medium for my family and friends of more tender palates.
Several years ago there was a TV commercial for who-knows-what - a phone company I think.
There was a gentleman in a kitchen talking on the phone while people behind him were running back and forth in a panic, carrying glasses and pitchers and spilling water everywhere. His side of the conversation went something like this:
"Uncle Bob? You remember that chili recipe you gave me? What kind of peppers you use in that thing?"
"Big, giant, green ones, huh?"
"Not little, bitty, red ones?"
