who says you need number theory? i figured it out by just just thinking about it

But we both know some number theory and when we "just think about" something that knowledge affects the direction of our thoughts.

 

The algorithm is pretty easy. If you look at the numbers......you answers will always be one of these numbers.

9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 64, 73, 81, 90

Its pretty easy to see that all the numbers have a sum of 9 and that the number sequence is a palindrome. Check it and see.....you will notice that the same symbol is listed for every one of these number everytime. Pretty smart of the programmer.

yeah i know what you mean, when i 1st saw a problem that requires the chinese remainder theorem to prove(before i had even heard of this theorom) i thought i proved it by just using logic, but then i was told so show that my answer was the lowest possible answer. since the answer was in the 10,000s i would have had to show that each number below it would not work , but then i looked up the theorem and it was E-Z
