Don't know how many of you have heard of Flatland BMX riding, but I recently got back into it (I read on another forum dozens of people over 30 still riding, and one was even 44, so you're never too old ). I found this vid and thought it was pretty cool. The song is an Austrailian rap group called the Hilltop Hoods.

It's really popular overseas, in Europe and Japan especially. It died out of the mainstream in the US though, so they took it out of the American X-Games years ago. Most of the American X-Games is a joke anyway, but that's a whole seperate story.

it used to be called just freestyle. I remember when the first rotor goosenecks came out for free spinning handle bars. We were all about straight BMX back in my day. Freestyle was just getting hot when I retired from all that jazz.
