If you live in Houston, you know that last night...alot or areas were flooded to hell.

Good thing I am in a rental car (Montero 01). I picked up 5 people to get BW3 (buffalo wings). On some streets I could see cars starting to float, we were driving in some conditions where the water was right at the bottom of the door jam of the Montero. It was pretty crazy...I think if you were in a S2K, water would start pouring into the floorboard of the car...

I saw that on the news. Our NBC affiliate said that Houston had 4 inches in 45 minutes. That must have been like a freakin' waterfall.

glad to hear that you and your beautiful stook are ok.

We have been on the edge of this storm the whole time.
We have not got any real rain from it, but *W O W* the clouds last night were awsome! All kinds of neat shapes and colors illuminated by a beautiful moon. I don't know why... but I really like a cloudy night sky (especially when it is a full moon). And the pressure was low... what a neat storm.

Wasn't that all a result of Hurricane Allison?
