Im driving my g/f crazy at night.....
So apparently I snore like a bear pretty bad at night, driving her nuts and causing her to not sleep well. Besides her using ear plugs, what works best for me to prevent snoring at night? Strips, etc? I dont know what works best and where can I get it? Im pretty loud and vibrate picture frames on the wall she says.

You need a CPAP or possibly a UPPP operation.
(I had the latter and cannot snore if I wanted to).

CPAP (continous positive airway pressure) is a mask connected to a pump that forces air down your airway to keep you from snoring.
UPPP (uvulo-palato-pharyngoplasty) is where a surgon goes in and pretty much takes out your entire soft pallet. No tonsels, uvula, etc, so there is nothing there to allow you to snore.
More than likely if you are snoring like that you have sleep apnea, so I would recommend you going to a sleep clinic.

You will look like Snuffalufagus with the machine on but it will do they trick. It seems a little invasive to wear a device all night like that. though I suspect surgery could be even more problematic, and I've heard the surgery is a far from guaranteed solution.
I had my tonsils out years ago and the only time I snore now is when I'm pisser drunk. Usually whoever is in bed with me then is drunk too so they're passed out anyhow.

See your physician for a sleep study so see if you have OSA (you may need a sleep study.) Also if you are overweight, try losing weight. Some people tape a tennis ball to their back because it keep them from sleeping on their back and you will snore less on your side. The CPAP and UPPP are later things to try. I snore loud too, but I ain't going to get a UPPP.
