I could almost see how that could happen. If she whipped into the spot too quickly on wet pavement, she could've locked up the brakes & understeered to the point she hopped up on the curb and across the white line.
I once did a 270-degree spin in a parking lot when I whipped in too quickly and lost it because it was slick. We just had our first light rain after a long dry spell, and it resulted in a slick oil/water glaze on the pavement. I ended up coming to a stop between the lines in a normal parking space, so I just got out and walked away like it was an intentional maneuver.
