Default Foreign marriages ?

This is something that has crossed my mind on several occasions, and I've been doing a small amount of research into it: Going abroad to find a partner (former USSR, or the current CIS). I know that there are stereotypes and misconceptions about this whole topic, yet, I wish to remain open minded, and make sure that I am making the right decision. There is nothing wrong with me, in fact, I am a VERY eligible bachelor.

What do you think that the pros and cons would be in a venture like this? I could use a little bit of guidance.

I have come to the conclusion (from personal experience) that foreign women are (sorry girls) more classy, tolerant, and dependable than american women, not to mention that they are partners, not competitors. I dont mind the small amount of extra 'maintenance' that a girl like that would require. I've found plenty of eligible bachelorettes here in the US, but I've always left with a feeling that something was missing. Then again, I was raised more as a european than an american.

Thanks! I would not be going there with the sole purpose of finding a wife. Thats not fair to me, or a prospective mate. I'm going to go, enjoy Moscow/St. Petersburg or any other cities that I visit, meet some nice people, make friends, no unrealistic expectations, if lightning strikes, then lucky me.
