If it isn't paypal.com or ebay.com, it's not legit!!!
That email looks legit, but I still wouldn't trust it. If it's a Trojan or keylogger virus, the simple act of logging in to the PayPal server is enough to screw you over.

Did anyone else get the Paypal class action suit a month or so ago about someone sueing Paypal and all its members getting a cut in the check? I got two of them and they looked legit, but I never followed through with claiming anything.
I never got that. I get a lot of emails like "Payment transaction unsuccessful. Please use this backup blah blah blah." I delete them, of course. But no, I never got anything about a class action law suit.
I've gotten similar emails from eBay, though.

I wouldn't sweat it, though. It's probably some high school scam.
The good ones deal with eBay. When an auction ends, they email the seller and send them the Payment Received email, and shipping instructions. If you're in a hurry, or just don't pay attention, you may ship the product to the wrong person. Good for the scammer, bad for you.

It's a fake.
One thing I noticed about Paypal emails is they'll open up with "Dear Jason Brown" or something like that. The legit ones will use your full name. They pretty much never say "Dear Paypal member" or "Dear valued Paypal customer."
But if in doubt, forward the email to spoof@paypal.com and let them sort it out.
