Hey all, I am trying to use a promotional program to get a free IPOD for my wife. It is fairly simple and requires that I get five people to sign up for trial memberships to various offers like Blockbuster Online, NYTimes Online, AOL MusicNet, etc. The cool thing is that if you get five people to sign up, you get a free IPOD as well. You guys know this is a scam to get your email address and others? It's a pyramid scheme. I bet you guys won't get the ipod.

 

First, I guess I am late to the party. Second I know they are collecting my email address, but I only gave out my "shopping" email address. I only use that email address when I am doing things that have me worried about spam.

Finally, I know of several people that received IPOD's. One of my friends is a big IT2 fanatic and all of his buddies on g2ic got IPOD's this way. It was legit at one time. Who knows, it could be a scam now, but I will take my chances....

 

Why do people state things as fact when they don't know what they are talking about? At least put an "i think" before you say somehting like that.
