Self employment + 17-18 credit hours a semester is the way to go imho.

Valet'ed for a year, and before that, baked japanese pastries ... Not the most fulfilling jobs but it was cash in my pocket nonetheless. Oh yeah, and I was a full time student while working and it was mangeable. You just have to allocate your priorities and not waste time doing nothing which is what I used to do in high school.

Depends on what you consider "full time" as far as school goes.

I work full time (40+ hours a week) and my credits for the year equate to a full time student but that's because I take summer classes to lessen my school workload.

Either way, grad school and work full time suck but in the end it'll be worth it.

To which I correctly replied that I was in school. However, because I had proven I could work if work was offered, I was also eligible for benefits.

It ain't rocket science. It's tough to find work from 12-8 for an engineering student with the occasional afternoon off for a lab.

Worked full time while I was doing my undergrad. Took me about 5 years to finish and graduated with a 3.6gpa. Nothing overly impressive, but I think its acceptable. Going back now next spring to start my masters, but planning on only doing 6 credits a semester while working my normal 40-45 hour week.
