A funny experience with ebay
I just thought I would share a little recent experience on ebay. Not really funny but anyway...
I'm planning on buying a set of HIDs.
I look through and I notice that one of the sellers offers a price match. Here's one of the listings:
Ebay link
It clearly says, "We will MATCH any price on eBAY +3% discount!".
Awesome! Just bought a set from this guy for $30.00 using the "make offer".
2nd ebay link
I emailed the seller who does the price match and the requirements included (which all are met):
I then get another email saying
[QUOTE]Hi,
Sorry we are unable to price match this item for your since the ballast they are offering is DC ballast.
The one that we have is AC ballast.

We will match the price under the following conditions:
1. ebay seller must be a U.S. seller
2. provide us the whole listing including the item#, and price
3. this U.S. eBay seller must have at least 1000 feedback within most current 3 months.
Please provide us all those info.

They will be going on a celica that will be sold soon. Stock halogens keep blowing out every month. Most of these eBay bids have a 2+ year warranty.
Tough crowd. I tend to rub the bulbs so they're nice and warmed up before turning them on. Maybe every month was exaggerating a bit but they do go out pretty often.
Maybe I should of posted something along the lines of cutting nuts while shaving. I'd get more people telling me about how many times they have done it as well, instead of people trying to doubt how I install my light bulbs.
