Default funny stories about quitting your job

Does anyone here have any funny stories about quitting their job?

I just resigned this morning. They are less than happy. Said I disappointed them because I didn't give 4 weeks notice instead of only 2 (yeah right 4 weeks) and tried to put me on a quilt trip to convince me to stay. I thought about yelling out "SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I should have emailed them... "Take your job and shove it. I'm out. Okay Bye."

Burn the bridge or don't burn the bridge....ahhaha.... I burned it 2 jobs ago.....told them they were idiots and showed how they contridicted their own policies, wasted $$$$ on stupid stuff (like overbooking a colorado hotel by 100 rooms, non refundable....hey what's $30k between friends....).... probably wasn't the smartest thing I did, but I survived.

I would just be as friendly as you can. Do they want you to train anyone to show them just how little you actually did.

"at 8:00am i log onto S2ki.... then at 5:00pm I log off and go home, while talking on my blue tooth to make it look like I am busy. I sometimes talk really loud into it to confuse bystanders into thinking I am talking to them.".......

Being in the oil business, its not a good idea burn bridges. Even though
i consult i still try to keep in touch with with the people that i have worked for. I might not like em but you never know, who's ass you gotta kiss next.

i just quit my job too. but i gave indefinite notice so i leave when they find a capable replacement.

i like my boss and people here and they take care of me so that and the fact that i am in no rush to be somewhere allows me to give a long notice. i will probably be fully out of here next month though

see ya in cali mav.

meth, do you have another job lined up? What if they can't find a replacement for you until next year?

By the time my third round crashed through the cubicles around me, everyone was pretty much too busy trying to get away to have a conversation. Didn't matter to me - I didn't feel like talking anyways.
