Do a couple of reps with heavy weights, then do a lot more with lighter weights. Eat your protein!

I am doing the same thing you have to eat a lot at first I thought I was eating a lot then people told me I was not. For mybreakfast I eat 6 egg whites a bowl of cereal with a scope of protein 2 bananas and a bagel with cottage chesse. I work 12 hour shifts at night so I bring 3 PBJ's 2 bananas 1 healthy choice frozen meal 3 protein drinks and I also make a frozen bortoli meal and bring it as my main course. I still dont think I am eatting enough, but slowly I am gaining I try to lift every day less reps more weight! I do lots of weighted push ups and sit ups which I think work the best, but everyone is different.

It actually sucks having to eat all the time to gain... I really believe it comes down to genes some of my friends were skinny and gained really quick and I am so slow at gaining!! It also sucks that I was thin for so long its hard for me to see changes even though everyone else tells me I am getting bigger...

i hope ur leaving what muscle u worked out at least 48 hour before u work it again, remember muscles get bigger by tearing and repairing themselves. If u dont allow them to repair themselves then u wont get big, u will get to one point and ur muscles wont get any bigger.
The main point is working one or two muscles a day like:
Biceps and triceps one day
back and shoulders one day
chest one day
legs one day
and so on (u can do any combination u want, but its better to work two muscles that are closer to each other)
also its actually a good thing to not work out every day, like take a day or two off to let ur body rest..
oh and dont forget to do cardio ALOT.

cardio builds muscles too, but every person is different, im not saying u have to do it everyday, but even if u do u can do it for a short time, it will get ur blood flowing and is a good warm up..

But the main important thing is rest, for example I try to only do each muscle once a week... sometimes maybe if ur focusing on one muscle in general u can do it twice, but no more..

If you do one muscle everyday it will get big fast, but like i said it will just stop at a certain point and thats when most peopple get mad and take some sort of steriod because they think there at there maximum but really they are not..
