I have a two car garage and the side that my Stook parks on will not open with any of my remotes.

It works from the key pad and also from the switch inside but not the remotes.

Its a pain in the ass opening both sides to get out, then getting out of my car closing the one door from the inside switch, then closing the other door with the remote. Too top it off when I come home I have to open the one side with the remote get out of the car to open the Stook side with the switch then getting back in the car to park

Any suggestions?

It sounds like something has de-programmed your remotes or the head unit may have lost the code. Have you tried reprogramming your remote?

Charlie, it sounds like it almost got to be at the head unit. I ran into a problem with a Sears unit last year and had to call the Mfg. hotline for help with reprogramming the unit.

You might check the head unit to see if it has instructions on it. Otherwise try calling the mfg.

Good luck,

CG

If the remote did not come with the opener you could have the problem with rolling codes. The sears screw drive is made by LiftMaster and uses a rolling code (prevents others from scamming you code) I went through several iterations with Sears / Liftmaster until all remotes, outside key pad all worked.
