Default Garage Flooring?

Since in am looking for my first home I really would like to put something on the floor since i'll be working on my car in there...

I know there are paints with non-slip stuff and title... anyone have some info for me with what you've choosen and decided to do?

I'd go with a wood float(smooth) finished concrete. Easy to clean and you wont knock your skin off everytime that you get under the car.

Do you really need it to be non-slip? What for?

This is Armstrong flooring- the same stuff you walk on in the super markets. It was $500 for 600 sq. ft. (20' X 30' garage) I paid another $500 to have it installed professionally. 3 1/2 years and I have only had to replace 1 tile. We live in weather that reaches over 100 degrees during the summer and have had no problems. Zero problems with hot tires which do cause problems on painted floors. Pay no attention to the model (wife) or the car in the picture.

We have a company here that will spray truck bed liner (RhinoLiner) type stuff on your floor for about $5/sq.ft. It looks tougher that heck.

I'm thinking about it.
