What I don't understand is why you're bothering to even get involved in this. There are probably plenty of threads like this going on right now from different forums, where idiots discuss on topics they "think" they know about. Are you gonna chime in to every one of those forums and explain to the fckheads that will never be convinced?

It started when I stood up for a friend who was I guess biting off more then he could chew. My buddy said something along the lines of how its better to make torque at a high rpm then a low one because you can multiply the actual usable torque with aggressive gearing, but then I guess he ran out of things to say. And this other genius basically started attacking my 'helpless' friend. I read half of what this guy wrote and it just seemed so flawed.

I'm no tech, or anything like that. I just like to drive the cars on their limits.
