Default Getting Out of a Large Person's Way

I always feel funny when a large circumference dude is coming down the same row I as me but in the opposite direction. My desk is right near a post where the aisle is just wide enough for two skinny people. Every time a big guy is coming that way, I step off to the side and let him by.

So, in general, what do you all think? Should I continue pulling over to let them by, or should I just keep on truckin' and see if they stop?

i would let them by. not so much for some right-of-way issue or being pc or anything...but if in fact there is a collision of any kind, guess who's getting knocked out of the way -- not the big guy.

It's a standard right-of-way issue.

I'm a big guy. . . well, I used to be, until everyone else ballooned up to my size. . . and most people seem to be alright so long as I make a reasonable effort.

If the guy is huge and a complete jerk, then have fun.

I don't feel it's any different than getting out of the way of a "normal" sized person when space requires.

momentum = mass X velocity

do the math but move over first.
