As many of you have probably experienced, my GFs car got her side window smashed in last night w a cinder block and got her purse nabbed.. Insurance deductables are gonna be a pain and it just boils my blood to to picture some F*ck bag jackin' my or my fam's shit. I feel bad for the person i catch one of these days.

I still don't understand why people leave valuables in plain view inside their car. I know 99.9% of the time your stuff is safe but it sure does blow that .1% of the time when it's not. Yes we should be able to leave our stuff like that and people leave things alone that don't belong to them but unfortunately that's not the world we live in.

I'm in this camp.

Sucks that it happened, and thieves should all die in fires, etc. etc. But count it as a lesson learned the hard way.

+1.

I understand people forget things sometimes. But a purse in a car on the street overnight is begging for a broken window.

People steal and it sucks, no argument. But I don't get how one automatically gets a free pass to beat, maim or kill in return. I thought we outlawed theft because it often led to violence, and we had already outlawed that kind of violence. Kind of hypocritical to beat someone up for stealing, but the motivation is understandable.

I've had several things stolen out of my car from parking in parking lots with the top down. $200 pair of oakleys twice, change, and other random shit. Feelsbadman

Nowadays? Ever since I can remember, my mom always taught us to keep valuables hidden if left in the car. I mean yeah it sucks, but this isn't a new phenomenon. There's always been crappy people out there, and there always will be.
