I am pretty sure with the nails that were in the wood he would have backed off after a few smacks to the face..... but who knows.... lucky I don't actually know the answer...

Went back at lunch..... magically my fridge was gone..... the scrap hustlers come around and take anything metal. Saved me the effort of hauling it to the dump.

 

I have 2 pitbulls and I dont live anywhere near the ghetto.

I have a male and Female and they are wonderful dogs. They are completely obedient and not angry at all. They play exceptionally nice with our 2 cats also.

The only time a pit will get uneasy is if 2 males are around eachother(as with every other breed) or if they sense a struggle or fear in their owner. What Im trying to say is they are VERY loyal. They dont like strange people coming around AT ALL. If they sense their owners in danger they freak out. Then yeah its time for something more than just a 2x4 with nails.

The scary thing about pits is that they have no sense of pain. It sounds cruel but you cant just smack a pit on their ass when they do something bad, you have to hit them way harder then you think you should. They think your playing with them if you do otherwise.

All in all, They are a great breed if their brought up like a normal dog. If your ghetto, starve them outside and when you do see them you hit them.. Yeah theyre going to tear your head off. Any dog will act that way, its just that pitts are so strong that theyll hurt someone. Its a shame they are conceived to be crazy dogs that eat nothing but humans. They are very very nice dogs that are loyal to their owner and listen very well!!

I suggest you spend some time with one(who was brought up well) before you stereotype them! I love my pitts! Theyre so playful!

Yeah, the problem is no matter how you raise a Chihuahua, it's not going to kill anybodys kids. Pits are enormously powerful and when they go off, people, often children, pay the price.

If a neighbor of mine had a pit, I'd posion it.

Like ElTianti said, a pitbull, rotweiller, etc... that gets an accidental poke in the eye from a kid, etc...will eat whatever poked it.

 

I am a dog lover, but dont consider pit bulls dogs. They are wild animals, and should all be killed. If you hit the dog with the 2x4, and didnt kill him, you wouldnt be able to get a second swing. If you ever find yourself in a pit bull situation, your only hope is to catch his neck, and wring it. If you hit them, you are signing a deathwish.

 

pits can take alot. one of my co workers was getting his house robbed when his pit came and almost killed the guy. the guy let loose a couple of rounds which got him in the shoulder and mouth and yet the dog kept going. those things are monsters... gl with your 2x1 with nails. hope those nails are tough
