From my experience, it not so much what you buy for your lady. It's more about what you do for her. Don't let her do any house work for the day, bring her lemonade, Foot massage (save this one for later since it tends to lead to other things) . Other than that maybe some flowers, a nice picture frame with a picture of both of you when you were first dating. A nice dinner and some wine. She'll be putty in your hands. By the end of the night, you'll be the one getting the gift.

I don't even have $200 for myself.

I know, go downtown with her and find a hobo and give it to him. It'll show you that you have a caring heart. Beware - she might think that you like hobos more than her.
