Girlfriend From Hell... Oh My God...
I love speculation.
Luder on the same lines, how do we know she didn't bring a few friends. Which would have given them ample time to scratch deeply. Hell pissed off girls usually have pissed off girlfriends, who talk them into pissed off acts. I know I've been there.

Ahhhh, more evidence that this may be a insurance fraud. The percentage of true hate crime property destruction done to automobiles is very, very low. The personal property that's usually at the assault end of the crime is usually homes. In this case, if the car has sustained damage, the good claim agent would also want to take a good look at the home and see if there's any damage done to the home.
I know the thread starter introduced the notion that this was an ex-girlfriend situation, which is what I hope the owner didn't claim. Why would she etch in the words, "Die Flip" if she used to date the guy?
I'm assuming "Flip" is the person's (nick)name...?
Luder94: Sounds interesting. I wasn't saying you had it done to you but rather that you had done it to someone else (knowing about deep scratches, being in a hurry, blah, blah)...and that was a complete joke. Sounds like you'd make a great insurance claim investigator.

Poor NSX. If it's the ex....shame on them. If it's the owner......YOU DON'T DESERVE THAT CAR BIATCH!!!!!!!! I don't care what happens, I would NEVER EVER EVER do that purposely to my own car.....especially not a freakin NSX!!!!!!!!!

Jon,
I didn't think to take that as an assumption that I did or would do something like this. Even if I did, my demeanor is very different than from day one of this site. I've learned that many people on this board (and on the net in general) are very different than percieved from their written words.
I wouldn't have taken anything personal anyway.
As far as the name, I assumed "Flip" is being used in the slang in an attempt to demean the owner, who may be Phillipino.
If the girl was really mad to inscribe a death threat on her ex's car, she's was really stupid. That can and would be taken as a death threat by the authorities.
Again, I will reiterate how fishy this smells knowing what aftermartket body parts are out there for the NSX and how jsut those panels seemed to recieve just so much abuse. I mean even the wing got a good shot of key action, this would justify the car getting a whole new paint job, and while you're at it, just paint it a new color.
I'm interested in what the outcome of this car is...how does it look now. That would be the final clue to insurance fraud.
